Well today being 1 month after our website Kooiii.com was wrongfully blocked because we tested and removed a 3rd party advertising code that Google bot didn’t like, they have finally stopped calling us an attack site. Possibly the last two request which told them of the intent to follow through on a slander suit if the site was not restored.

The message our Aussie Partner received from Stop Badware:

The reason you weren’t able to find the “Current Activity” section at the link below is that Google stopped reporting badware on your site as of earlier today. The warnings have been removed from Google search listings and other sources that use Google’s data.

What still begs attention is how a company can gain status by attaching to a loose script that get’s errant reads and makes wrongful accusations against other companies. What they are calling, keeping you safe is actually hurting legitimate webmasters and small business owner. In fact the scammers, frauds, and virus mongers of the world plot routes around their technology as fast as these sites are thrown up so out of the 40,000+ websites they have blocked, there is a high possibility that a large number of those sites are not attack sites at all.

Even when they do get a legitimate hit, it is often a webmaster who had their website hacked by a piece of Internet scum and now the website owners are labeled with attack site and thought of as badware agents because a crime was committed against them.

Who gives these people a right to operate or regulates them on accuracy? Google, Mozzilla, MySpace, Pay-Pal, and the 3-5 other sponsors and partners of Stop Badware, are just companies, not government entities and yet they have assumed that they have a right to filter and police the web and choose what and how you see things on the Internet. They do so using a software agent that makes serious mistakes and flat out slanders good people and legitimate businesses.

Australias Kevin Rudd announced yesterday that effective immediately tobacco taxes would rise by a massive 25%, but is this really legal ? can the prime minister simply dictate a rise without any public debate and is the tax discriminating against smokers ???.

Opposition Leader Tony Abbot pointed out that although masked as a move to force the smokers to quit and thereby improve their health, the real reason is possibly to make up for Kevin Rudds overspending at the expense of those afflicted with the addiction.

Personally i feel it’s just another case of the free country not being free and the will of a few being forced upon the many, how would this tax hike have faired in a public poll ? it would have probably lost overwhelmingly, the way this tax has been installed is exactly what would have been expected of Sadam Hussien  or Fidel Castro.

Wake up Mr Rudd Australia is supposed to be a democratic country yet you deny us our freedom of choice, you already tell smokers where and when they can smoke now you want to cover up your mistakes at our expense, just because you do not smoke doesn’t mean we cannot smoke and should not be penalised because we do, you are discriminating against smokers and it’s time to stop, you want to raise that money try putting a lid on your already bloated salaries and you trips all over the world to do what something you already have ambassadors in those countries to do.

Mr Rudd your in for a fight because the tobacco companies are not going to simply roll over to your demands they remove their long established brands from their packaging, the smokers in Australia are not going to take being the fall guy for govt mistakes yet again with this move you have already lost the next federal election, We the people demand equality for all.

Mr Rudd i have been a smoker for 40 years an addict to nicotine yet you offer no aid to kick what is supposed to be more addictive than heroin instead you simply kick us in the teeth again and again what do you think the results of your tax is going to be  well i can tell you this Australia will see a rise in crime and suicide, the poor of this country struggle to make ends meet now while remaining honest yet you in one stupid move powered by greed have put the poor in a position where they have little or no alternative but to steal and commit crime in order to survive, simply going cold turkey is not really an option and is also one many doctors warn against because of the irreparable physiological and physical damage it can cause and yes it can lead to suicide.

You want Australia to stop smoking then look to other incentives like a free quit program where we can get the medications required to wean us off of nicotine for free and also get the  physiological help necessary to kick the habit.

You have stuffed up Mr Rudd, you are PM not Dictator of Australia and your new tax is not Legal or Fair, We demand a public referendum where you will find out just how low our opinion of you is after this disgraceful act.

These days almost everything on the Internet carries a copyright notice, Pictures,websites articles and often people acquire these materials the find the owner is threatening legal action for infringing their copyright.
When this happens Don’t panic most of these threats are just that worded to scare you into removing the material, however you may not have to, see although placing a copyright © on a page or a picture it does not mean that the owner is eligible to sue.
In order for the owner of a work to sue for infringement that work must be duly registered for Intellectual property copyright and General copyright in the country the infringement has occurred, now the Berne Convention does allow basic transfer of copyright between participating countries but the fact remains there needs to be a physical copyright in place to legally sue someone for copyright infringement.
This being the case it is your right to challenge the owner of the work to provide proof that a Registered copyright indeed exists and without that proof you are not legally required to honor any copyright notices .
Courts will not hear cases where no Registered Copyright or Intellectual property Copyright exists, the same might be said for trademarks and brands however it is more likely that a trademark or brand has been registered whereas most website designers, amateur artists even software developers falsely rely on if they have the © on their work it is covered.
Now i am not a lawyer but i do know how to read and there are plenty of articles written by experts on copyright law available on the internet which outline how to copyright a work so that it has legal status, I have included below a few of these links where i sourced my information for this article.

My Viral Blog will no longer be offering free blog hosting services.

When Initially launched the intent of My Viral Blog was to offer free hosting for online bloggers interested in for profit blogging and owning a home based business. In the past several months though, what was hoped to be a well received project adding value to our systems and sites has turned into an attention and money pit with massive attacks from blog spammers and link sellers using illegal methods to rip off the webmasters of the world.

My average week since inception has revolved around deleting around 2500 spam accounts per week including fake blogs designed only to create a back link. This process takes around 5-6 hours per week alone, another 6-10 hours per week has been spent to research and improve blog security and blacklist attacking domains and IP strings.

Along the way we have developed a popular blog and are seeing increased back links, syndication of our articles and post, and support for our training in blog, social media, and search engine marketing. The efforts to improve on this have resulted in a PR4 ranking from Google which could be higher if it were not for the spammers who create pages we must later delete. The deleted pages and fake blogs with no unique content result in a penalty to our blog's Page Ranks and indexing by generating too many indexed and site mapped links that result in a 404 error page or blank blogs linking to the home that appear to search engines like gateway pages which are heavily penalized and can result in de-listing.

Dropping the free blogs and it's effect on users:

As a result we have shut off new blog creations and are giving notice to our bloggers to retrieve their SQL back ups in order to move their blogs to other hosting either self hosted or through other free services. Anyone who has ever used PPC (Pay Per Click) Advertising knows that to get a listing under the top used keywords means spending copius amounts of money on each of the main keywords even then there is no guarantee that your bid will be beaten 5 minutes after placement.

I hope through this article to show the reader alternative tactics that will produce the same sort of results received when you successfully win the bidding war but without spending all that money.

The first step in any successful advertising campaign should always be keyword research closely followed by the development of a sound marketing plan which encompasses exactly where the ads will appear.and what their content should be.(i'll cover this in more detail in future posts)

Christmas time is coming and today is the day I start designing our Christmas theme and maybe a few to put up for sale in the store.

There is also a script update for our site that I will be working on so if things look funny or out of place for a bit you'll know why. New script updates are like mystery meat. You just don't know what you are getting until you have it installed. I think twice this year we had back end changes and a few time there were security features upgrades with virtually no other changes.

You may have noticed the community area is still offline. I have taken it down while focusing un security and trying to patch any leaks that are keeping our ongoing war with Spam Bots alive. Proud to say we are down from 100+ Spammer Blogs a day to around 8-14 each day but as long as some moron with auto software can create even 1 we will continue to improve the system.

I need to remind visitors as in the last two post that while we do offer free blogs to our readers we are primarily a blog. We focus on social media marketing, online business, promotion, and share updates about our comanies products and services. Among those websites we own is Easy Search Live and I am hoping to announce this week a new venture with one of the largest search partnerships on the web that will spell massive cost savings on paid advertising for our users, and will also result in a very high profile and tons of traffic to our growing engine which is currently Google PR5 and Alexa Rank 175,569 and growing.

BTW having issues there with Adsense targeting and the ads have been shoing on Easy Search in Arabic languages. This is a Google issue they fail to adress and allow for publishers to do a manual setting. We have only a couple options, and one is to disable the multi language support the other is to replace Google. Well on Easy Search Live it will be Bye Bye Google as soon as this other partnership goes through. Plain and simple we are tired of jumping through hoops for Google to tell us how to run our site, when they can't even fix criticcal issues like Arabic ads showing to English users with theirs.

Either way Thanksgiving is coming real soon. Pulled the bird to thaw, all 23 pounds of it to feed 5 adults and 6 kids on turkey day. Plain and simple folks we are most thankful for our families, our readers, and our clients. You make being in a home based business great!

OK and here is what has me confused as I go through blog after approved blog and find nearly every blog has paid advertising placements, we don't. Nearly every blog has paid text links in addition to popup ads on many. We don't and most have Google ads which yes we do have them.

Now we do have a handful of banners on our right sidebar that are websites we own with most of those seervices offered free of charge just as blog hosting here is also free of charge for our readers. Heck we don't even put ads on your free weblogs, we have a simple footer link to our blog and you are free to monetize your blogs as you see fit.

Izea, what gives? Why can Networked Blogs, Bloggers Choice which is yours by the way, and others linked to the left sidebar see that this is in fact a blog and not the party handling our review? The message points to your blog as an example which has every post related to Izea services and how best to maximize the earnings made with IZEA and Social Spark. Read our pages and like you we write industry related articles and press release announcements for our programs.

I am making this post so your eyes can see that this is in fact a blog and not a website as you have referred to it on two prior attempts at submission for review. It is my blog which is using WPMU and does offer blog hosting for free to my readers but the central site is 100% my personal and business weblog.

I am thinking that the layout and fact I am an extensive user of static pages in addition to the blog content may have caused this misunderstanding. I use static pages to deliver terms of service, privacy policies, training, and program details on the sites my partners and I own. Still as you can see this is a blog post on a real weblog.

Recently I have combined all my blogs into this weblog, it is the only place I now blog that is not on a major social network like MySpace or Tagged. Since 2003 when I first came online as a Internet Marketer and online business owner I have built dozens of blogs and website. Currently my partners and I have over a dozen websites and around 14 blogs of which a majority are mine to maintain. As our business grows though the process of writing and posting to all these blogs and social community profiles has become troublesome and time consuming.

What we have is a wide range of blogs and domains that are performing well but not updated very often which can cause a loss of user interest. Expanding our reach too far to maintain has developed into a communications meltdown.

One of the things we have promised to our readers here at My Viral Blog is to show ways to automate task and simplify business operations to get a maximum impact. Many of our readers have heard of things such as domain investing, domain parking, and redirect traffic. We have a great set of performance domains and they all get traffic that is currently going to blogs that sometimes get shelved for 3-4 months between post which has become a waste of usable space and has only resulted in semi steady income through Adsense and affiliate links on these websites.

Today however we will begin the process of importing hundreds of post from these blogs adding tons of new content and training at My Viral Blog.

In the process as these blogs, their content, and the powerful pages on them are migrated to our new blogging home we will be using permanent redirects to send that traffic to My Viral Blog. The first projects are on domains such as HighTechAffiliate.com , Andy Zeus Anderson.com, ModernMoneyMachine.com and a few subdomain blogs that will also redirect. In addition there will be post coming in from several Blogger based sites and a few community profiles that will also move here and redirect pages targeting our new home on the web will also be put in place to recycle that traffic as well.

In the end this blog will be a almost sole focus of all our articles and post and will allow multiple new post per week, and bring tons of traffic and interest to our community of bloggers. Mind you that My Viral Blog is not just a personal business blog but also offers free blog hosting and will soon have a fresh install of our community pages which were taken down by a malicious SPAM attack this past week. We have since taken precautions to further secure our domain, blogs, and system as a whole and make the web a safer place on the MVB system.

In addition to major changes happening right now to get us back on track and back to free to use I just eliminated those dungy default themes and added a couple hot new themes to the back end of My Viral Blog. You will need to log in and select a new theme if you just left the default in place on your blog.

Folks yesterday I may have seemed steamed, a bit agitated with the lack of support from the membership.

I was in a bit of dismay as we made efforts to provide opportunity to all simply by posting to your blogs and even offered 1 to 1 training in pro blogging. Seems we lost the interest of some along the way who just wanted a free blog and even though we never charged the pre-launch members a dime, we only had one member who did anything towards supporting the move to pro blogs and a great training system.

As a result the reaction from our members resounded loud and clear. You want free blogs and zero hassels so here we are to deliver.

Now hosting blogs cost us money, but instead of adding Google Ads to your blogs etc.. there is simply a single banner in the footer to direct people seeking free blogs to My Viral Blog where they can still get great training from my post there or get an Amazing blog of their own.

Look for some major exclusives like the new themes we just added.

See we also own My Viral Business and will be using My Viral Blog as a theme testing ground and will make the WordPress Pro Themes there available to our users first. Many of our themes will be added to your members area for use as a My Viral Blog members.

Hey folks,

Due to a couple items, one the lack of members seeking to earn income and promote My Viral Blog and two, some issues with the payments plugin and maintaining the free upgrades of our pre-launch members, we have decided to make My Viral Blog a free blog host once again.

The changes will take place over the next day or so and if you have found it impossible to log in and post to your blog it should be resolved by Monday. With the lack of a paid system to generate the income required to cover downloads and bonuses etc.. or to pay for the time required in adding weekly training post etc.. You will find some of these features removed and all training added in the open for members and visitors instead of in the exclusive upgraded members only section.

Somewhere along the way we guessed wrong. Our members simply have no desire to profit from their blogs and post, to promote My Viral Blog, or even participate in the one on one training we offered so the main focus on MVB will be as my main blog and a free blog host with powerful community features to help you communicate and grow. A free ride comes with little benefits beyond systems, you will see a huge drop in what you receive in exchange for being here as our trust was violated by those who added no value to the system and would not work towards earning an income of their own.

Again these changes will happen as fast as possible but many may not be able to access their accounts to do post etc.. until Monday.

New blog training added to paid members training center at My Viral Blog.

Earlier this week I was making plans to start building auto post blogs and create a lesson plan on how to use creative commons feeds to build a blog without writing. Well another project demanded too much attention this week so I decided to talk about team work, syndication, and partnerships for blog success instead.
