How to take on Google Adsense and win.

Taking on Google by not fighting Google.

Since announcing KART Ads from Kooiii the other day we have received quite a bit of feedback of which the biggest comment seems to be how massive the Google monopoly is on online advertising. The detractors all say we are too small to be competitive and like most other advertisers we will be crushed by them.

When thinking about launching a advertising delivery service such as KART in a Adsense/Adwords riddled web, you need to have the right mindset. KART is not designed to compete with, or replace Google. Our program is designed though to attract the users that Google doesn't already have.

Publishers wise we are looking for those websites where the webmaster has either played the Google game and been burned, often deleted on a minor infraction which can even happen after a fresh rules change that you missed. We seek those who have tired of trying to modify their content to meet Google's demands, and run their site's in Google's desired image. In short those who are tired of jumping through hoops for pennies on the dollar.

We also are looking for the Google Losers who had little to no budget for the paid advertising you practically have to have in order to promote a site and show Google ads. These folks use free traffic sources but because free doesn't pay Google , the Big G has labeled these sources as click fraud regardless of there being absolutely no truth to that claim.

So what about advertisers, how do we get them from Google's clutches?

Adwords cost a lot of money and even major corporations are finding a lot less of that laying around. Part one of capturing our target of 1% of Google is to offer lower fees for better service. We keep our cost low by not focusing on major corporate perks like in video ads and those Flash inter-actives that some ad companies say are great but a growing number of ad blockers refuse to allow. Instead we focus on the core of effective online advertising in a affordable platform that also opens up the world's largest market which is found in the small business owners who can not afford to pay 1-5 dollars per visitor to their website.

Granted we are a small ad server at this time and as we grow bids will rise, but currently a small business advertiser can come to KART Ads and get 3,5,15 or more visitors to their website for the cost of one on Google. Fact is Big G is not that hard to hang out with, even MySpace and Facebook have begun branching out, Twitter don't seem to see them as viable, and they leave a lot of the advertising market on the table because they cater to corporate interest over the mom and pop shop.

KART is Kooiii Accurate, Responsive, and Targeted Advertising, we invite you to come over and see the KART Ads difference.

Social Media and Search Engines?

Social Media Search Engines

The latest trend in search engines has been to embrace constant media through various blends of social networking relationships. From Social Search sites that allow you to search your favorite networks, to side wiki from Google, and the new Caffine Search algorithm from Google that is supposed to aid you in getting more information about a website based on what is being said on the social web about a company.

Community though, many have found is not something found in an add-on and that also ran does not show adequate recognition of the importance of customer feedback in online media. In fact if the social part of your search is an afterthought, the chances are that this is how people will feel you view them.

Kooiii.com is the latest site to throw their hat in the social media search arena but has done so with a fresh new approach.

While Kooiii does in fact have some of the usual features like the ability to search Twitter, Facebook, Digg, and MySpace, they go much deeper on direct user interaction with search. The entire front end of Kooiii for example is a social community system boasting micro blogging, link and media sharing, personal pages and group discussions that are accessible in standard web or mobile formats, with both community and personal rss feeds to keep you constantly updated on the things that interest you most.

Kooiii has put a “you first” system in place that shares the most recent buzz and trends in a fast and friendly atmosphere.

On the back end is a world class search engine.

From the multiple targeted search categories to the wide web results this engine gathers information at great speed. Other features such as thumbshots and quick view help the user make educated choices about the sites they truly wish to visit. Quick view though is probably the most loved feature for shoppers and students alike.

Quick View allows for multiple websites to be opened in frames right inside the search results page. You can do a search for “Ipod Nano” for example and compare 5-6 different websites to get the best price or find that special feature you are looking for. Imagine the time saved quoting multiple sources for a book report or essay when instead of visiting 4 sites one at a time you can visit all four at once and on the same page. Quick view can even help authors and bloggers gather information faster while leaving them free and already on Kooiii to perform another search.

Social media search has come a long way from that Google Search Box on MySpace or Twitter feeds on so many engines. Kooiii has joined a competitive area with an unique presentation that will surely care it’s own niche among innovators.
